ClearUp is built to keep your data on your phone. This policy explains the few cases where data leaves the device, what happens to it, and how to get rid of it.
Everything you create in ClearUp — your onboarding answers, your meal log, your trigger profile, your daily skin ratings, your progress photos and your generated “future self” image — is stored locally in the app's own sandbox on your iPhone. We do not have a user account system, we do not have a copy of this data, and we cannot read it.
When you scan a meal or generate a future-self image, that single photo is sent over HTTPS to our server to be analysed, and the result is returned to your phone.
Subscriptions are sold and billed by Apple through the App Store. We receive only what is needed to confirm your subscription status. We never see your payment card details.
We collect limited, anonymous usage data to measure installs and app performance. If you allow
tracking when iOS asks (App Tracking Transparency), this may include Apple's advertising
identifier (IDFA). If you decline, no IDFA is collected. You can change your choice any time in
Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Our server writes short request logs (timestamp, endpoint, response status, truncated IP) purely to spot errors and abuse. They contain no photos and no personal profile data, and are rotated automatically.
ClearUp is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has used the app, email us and we will help remove anything associated with it.
Because the app has no accounts, you exercise most rights directly: deleting the app removes every local record of your use of it, permanently. For any data held outside your device on our behalf, you can request access, correction or deletion — including under GDPR and the CCPA — by emailing dreammint2025@gmail.com. See also Delete my data. If this policy changes materially we will update this page and the “last updated” date above, and where appropriate note it in the app.
