Terms of Use (EULA)

By downloading or using ClearUp you agree to these terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, which applies in addition to this page.

1. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use ClearUp on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not resell, reverse-engineer or redistribute the app.

2. Subscriptions

• ClearUp is a paid app: full access requires an auto-renewing subscription, purchased inside the app. The plan lengths and current prices are shown on the purchase screen before you buy, in your local currency.
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
• The subscription renews automatically at the same price and period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
• You manage and cancel subscriptions in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
• Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

3. Not medical advice

ClearUp provides general wellness information about diet and skin. It does not diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. The AI-generated “future self” image is an illustration of a possible outcome, not a prediction or a promise of results. Never disregard medical advice because of something you read in the app.

4. Your content

You keep all rights to the photos and notes you create. You grant us only the narrow permission needed to process an image you submit so the app can return a result to you — see the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the right to submit any photo you upload, including photos of other people.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use ClearUp to submit unlawful content, to attack or overload our service, or to build a competing dataset by automated scraping of our API.

6. Availability and AI output

The app depends on third-party AI services and may be unavailable, slow, or occasionally wrong. AI output can misidentify food and misjudge scores. Use judgement.

7. Disclaimer and liability

ClearUp is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. To that same extent, Bloom LTD is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to what you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support for ClearUp. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.

9. Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access if these terms are breached.
